Start Up Dreams and What would you Tradeoff ?

What does a start up want ?

What does a start up want ? It is the beginnings of a dream. A recent query asking what would make a ‘pitch competition’ interesting for a start up to take part in had many answers. Few responses said people would put in so much efforts and spend time so they should have good compensation 💰 and maybe investment in to their start up. I had a few thoughts. 👉 The people in start ups are pitching their dreams. Recognition is more important 👉 To make a dream come true they need correct guidance, which they know they don’t have expert skills. 👉 They don’t want their dreams taken over by others and would rather boot strap than handover the dream. What would be welcome : ✅ Some money to celebrate their win ✅ Some mentoring by experts for over a period of time like 6-12 months ✅ Some tickets/ memberships / subscriptions for upskilling the team spread over 6-12 months. Do you agree with me? What more would you add? Do you need help with your branding and marketing strategies? Do you need help with your positioning? Message me and let us make the dream and reality. 😊. #shambavisspectrum #startup #entrepreneurship #community

What is a hashtag? Why we should use personal hashtags!

What is a hashtag?

A  hash tag is something which was started actually by Twitter but is used by every platform to search content you can also use it to cross reference.

Now if you think that what you're saying has a voice which needs to be heard by people, it is like having a nameboard outside your house declaring that this house is where you live in a similar fashion you can actually use hashtags to relate to the content that you have written or spoken.

#shambavispectrum

I personally use hashtag #shambhavisspectrum, not that many people know me but then when and if they do, even if they're not connected on the social media platforms with the search using the hashtag they can access my content anywhere.
So make yourself more visible, what you say let it reach out to more people, use hashtags and let people know where you reside in the social platforms or in the space of the technology world.

Connect with me

Please do connect if you've created a hashtag for yourself after this post, to let me know in the comments box.

I would be very interested in knowing your thoughts on hashtag on any platform that you connect with me.
Please do let me know what you think about it and any other tips that you would like .

Social Media Platforms - Norms and External Links

Are you wondering why some of your posts get more attention and some less though the content was equally good?

Today I am going to tell you about Social media platforms, what it means when we post on them and how to increase our visibility.

All love is same

If you ask any parent they will tell you that they love each of their child equally, if you ask the children they will tell you a different story.
The various free  social media platforms that we have each one wants to grab our attention to the maximum time possible just like how children want attention.
Hence in the main post area if you put a link to any other platform, somehow that post doesn't get so much visibility maybe it is the algorithms which are working and they don't want you to go away from their platform to another platform.
Even if the parent company is the same of couple of platforms, they are all competing for your attention and for your TIME.

Be mindful

Next time when you are writing a post as far as possible try and avoid putting a link which takes the person away from that particular platform. The post instead use the comments section or ask people to direct message you
You can have a better reach.
This  has been my personal observation which I wanted to share.
If you have any comments or similar observations please do think about sharing them with me .
Any other tips you would like to know, about visibility ,communication, marketing, management give me a shout in the comments section and let's see what we can do together.

Hashtag tips for LinkedIn and Highlighting content in Links.

Use of Hashtags

Do you know why choosing hashtags in a proper sequence is important in LinkedIn?

Today I am going to take you through another LinkedIn tip where I'm going to highlight and tell you the way we use hashtags and why we should use it to our advantage.

You can read this here or watch the video or do both as in "and", model.

When I go to my  LinkedIn page and to the LinkedIn profile I can see an article which I had written yesterday about an event which I attended online.
It was regarding "Redefining Consumer Engagement".
The company which hosted it is tagged by me.
Further  up I can see  the three hashtags which I used in the sequence #shambavisspectrum #marketinginsights and #customerfirst.

How many hashtags to use on LinkedIn?

This is a good time for me to tell you that please don't use more than five (5) hashtags on LinkedIn..
Other platforms may encourage more but LinkedIn is happy with five.

You click on the three dots for copy link to post and share it.
You can paste on a Word document you can see again view the sequence of the hashtags which I used.

You can prioritize and give  importance to what you want highlighted in your post so that the search engines can locate them easily.

I always keep emphasizing on the 'USP', specially of your personal brand now if you are posting on LinkedIn and you want to highlight certain things use that sequence in that particular article as I wanted to share that it's my shambavisspectrum which is my viewpoint , it was marketing insights and of that fact that customer should be the first.
If you use others hashtags then those are the hashtags which get highlighted along with your link so obviously when people are searching for it those would come up first so it is up to you to decide what you want as priority.

Go ahead and use those hashtags to benefit yourself.

If you liked what you saw or read here please think about connecting with me subscribing to the channel and posting some cheer in the comments section on any of the platforms where you see this.
Thank you.

Redefining Consumer Engagement Shambavis Spectrum

Is there any dynamic instore map available which helps save time within the store and makes  us less dependent on the sales person for any Landmark company or any company in the World?

My question however is still valid I believe though retailers want you to spend more time and shop more, but being there, telling them the path to how to reach what they want quickly and retain them by taking care of them.

Was my question to the panelists somewhere in between the discussion.

Redefining Consumer Engagement

This a topic which is always interesting considering Consumer is the reason why companies exist

Shruti the moderator from Images Retail ME, started the session with research indicating you can cross sell by 22% and upsell by 38%.

Though I have had the Snap chat app and account on my phone for ages but I am all thumbs when it comes to using the app.

I have no idea what to do with it or why I should?

Listening to Farimah from Snap chat was an eye opener. Apparently an individual visits the app 30 times in a day and spends an hour.

There are two types of metric they track

First how the person uses the camera, the playtime , how much they use augmented reality 60 seconds to 3-4 minutes.  and second the content. Shareability, likes . there is no push and only swipe which means people choose to absorb the content.

Stanislas mentioned as an ecommerce platform, Ounass, needs to track the usual revenue, number of visits , Time spent, frequency of visits, number of times open and then retention

How people can visit their website via Snapchat where a person is aided by augmented reality.

After the sales, the post engagement, the delivery-speed, efficiency,  the conditions of the goods, not damaged.

Did people share their post purchase experience Positive, negative comments and to ensure the business was not transactional.

Balasubramaniam from Max, Landmark spoke about how the engagement had changed. Earlier it was Search led and now it was content and community led.

Creator Economy is the key word.

Service rendering

Farimah mentioned standing in a queue waiting for a  purchase, getting bored, scanning a QR code for an interactive game, which gave a special discount code by the time she reached the counter to pay.

This could be a big game changer- sorry for the pun intended,  in the amusement parks, hotel check in queues and any queues including the ones to get in to public transport if it can be used by brands which could be big or brands which are small, local maybe the corner juice/ falafel  shop.

Everyone agreed :

Customers are becoming brand ambassadors.

Brands can become part of the family

Check influencers for their content

Have Internal focus groups.

What you have online bring Offline.

The session had many other takeaways and is a must listen for all.

You can catch it at YoutTube.

My question however is still valid I  believe though retailers want you to spend more time and shop more, but being there, telling them the path to how to reach what they want quickly and retain them by taking care of them.

LinkedIn Featured Post

Features in LinkedIn Profile

There are many features in our LinkedIn profile which we do not use.

Please see the video below on how to use the Featured on profile.

We can use our profile as our USP, to speak in our absence and highlight things we consider important.
